Stand Against Racism

Tennessee United for Human Rights is excited to announce a special event organized by:

  • YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Tennessee Human Rights Commission (THRC)
  • Metro Nashville Human Relations Commission (MHRC).

Stand Against Racism, featuring jazz singer Dara Tucker, will take place on April 27 on the public square in Nashville. Speakers include:

The event is free and open to the public.

Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. This campaign is one part of its larger national strategy to fulfill its mission of eliminating racism.

Time: Music at 11:30am, program 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Place: Public Square, downtown Nashville (directions)
Cost: None, no reservation required.
